How to check whether we have reached hostmonster quotas

  • Email can reach its quota if bouncebakcs from all the out of date / bad emails addresses in our mailing list have added up.

To check on these:

– Log into hostmonster
– Select the “Email Accounts” in the Email Section
– This gives you a display which shows the space left in and
– Click on the More button to access the webmail (password Pe************* with no exclamation mark)
– Select an email reader to use. I recommend Horde as it has a “Empty Folder” option to purge to entire Intray in a single click
– Select Inbox, then click on Empty Folder (icon to right of Inbox Title)

  • Number of files:

The max number of files we are allowed to have is 200,000, as per Hostmonster usage policy.

To check on these:

– Log into hostmonster
– On the first page, look at the left-hand side “Stats” box, line “File count”.
