How to fix Mailing lists that don’t work
When mailing lists don’t seem to be working, it usually is the following problem:
- Go to Hostmonster / Mailing lists and “manage” the mailing list that has the problem.
- Privacy Options / Recipient Filters / set “Must posts have list named in destination (to, cc) field (or be among the acceptable alias names, specified below)?” to “no” and submit changes.
- Check “Tend to pending moderator requests” and deal with each.
- Done
Caveats: There may be other problems but we’ve had this one many times…
